Seward Slides: No Adults unless Accompanied by a Child

When life is sliding out of control, there’s only one thing to do: outslide it–and the Seward Slides Minipark is just the place. You’ll whoosh down so fast you’ll land on your butt, probably in a pile of cardboard left over from sloppy sliders. But I guarantee you’ll go back and do it again. Take a stressed-out friend and slide in tandem.

Hidden in Noe Valley, San Francisco, the park’s double concrete slide were created after a 14-year-old girl named Kim Clark, won a “Design in the Park” contest. Now locals of all ages love them for good free fun.

HOW: You know how. But a piece of cardboard or wax paper is highly recommended. Dress casual.

WHERE: Seward & Douglass, San Francisco, CA.
